About
WHO WE ARE
Cross Cultural Agility, LLC., was established in the state of North Carolina in 2018 by Niambi Jaha-Echols, to provide a different approach to the standard Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion offerings by other organizations. Our approach is different in that we unapologetically take a heart-centered approach to all things J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) focusing on assisting individuals and organizations to cultivate an increased Cultural Intelligence, which is an asset when navigating cultural differences. We help cultivate intentional community environments where the notion of "inclusion" becomes more of "who" we are rather than "what we do". Niambi Jaha-Echols is the CEO of Cross Cultural Agility, LLC. She is a Cultural Agility Strategist, Thought Leader, Cultural Intelligence Specialist, Professional Educator, Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Certified Practitioner, and nationally recognized Life Empowerment and Transformational Advocate with over 30 years of experience working with various modalities of creativity and personal development. Her expertise includes: executive coaching, cultural audits, facilitation/training, strategic J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) initiatives, and building inclusive leadership teams. She has worked with individual executives, teams, and organizations from around the world. As the Principal Consultant for Cross Cultural Agility, LLC., Niambi serves as a subject matter expert and consultant to organizations, working with both leadership and staff. She provides creative strategic support, utilizing principles from the Design Thinking methodology, psychology, mindfulness, and various spiritual modalities on matters of diversity management and inclusive practices in educational and workplace cultures. She offers executive coaching, advice and guidance to supervisors and managers on best practices associated with leading staff/employees from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Her innovative processes assist in aligning inclusion initiatives with our client's organizational mission, goals, strategies and metrics giving DEI a new and evolved meaning: Demonstrating Empathy Inter-culturally. Niambi's latest book, "What Color Is Your Soul: Healing The Illusion Of Our Separateness", was published in 2019. She is also a co-contributor to the book "African Americans and Community Engagement in Higher Education", published by SUNY Press, and the author of "Project Butterfly: Supporting Young Women and Girls of African Descent Through the Transitions of Life", and "Inspiring the Souls of Our Girls." |

Her workshops, seminars, and retreats are designed to help people understand who they really are, release negative emotions, and to re-calibrate individual and collective vibrations to higher levels - ultimately back to our universal oneness.
